These cotton blankets are so soft they feel like cashmere. Very special cotton is used to produce these blankets. "Green Cotton" refers to cotton plants and growing fields that are not sprayed with any pesticides during the growing season. Color grown cotton is hybrid cotton that has been developed to have natural color. This cotton is brown or green color in the field, no dye is used to achieve this natural color.

DownTown uses Green Color Grown Cotton for the brown blanket and for the green blanket; both of which reverse to ecru. Ecru is the natural color of untreated cotton. The natural brown color resembles that of a cup of capuccino. The color of the green reversible blanket is light sage.

These natural color combinations of cotton are woven together to create our reversible blankets. The Granny Ecru/Ecru Reversible Blanket is also made from color grown cotton.
