Luxury comforters will be easy to identify and not just by the price.  High thread count and fill power ratings will also clue you in that you are looking at a high quality gift.  Fill power ratings will tell you how “fluffy” or filled a comforter is and typically fall in the 300-600 range.  A luxury down will have a rating of 750 or higher.  Thread calculate will typically range from 250-300 and the higher the better for a luxury down.  A higher thread calculate will offer better stitching so there is little chance of the down leaking out.

Did you know that manufacturers can “Claim” to have Hungarian down but actually have chinese down.

3. Using a Pillow Protector and high thread count linen sets to protect your down pillows is essential, it is much easier to clean bedding sheets then a huge down pillow.
4. Can your Washer Machine and dryer support your down pillows?
5. Most home units cannot support a King size pillow some cant even handle a queen size pillow inside.
6. So please check.
7. This is not a quick fix, this project will potentially take all day!
8. The drying process will take a long time.
9. Washing the down pillow: mild detergents that have already began to sud up… then add your comforter into the lukewarm water.
10. Two spin cycles to dry if your washer machine can do this.. to help suck out the water out of the comforter.
11. It’s best to place the pillow outside to naturally dry from the sun for a long time… protect  it from the elements with another sheet.
12. Why? Because most home dryers are not strong enough to dry this on the first try.. so why raise your electricity bill trying again…use mother nature.
13. massage the down clusters free with your fingers. Yes they will be clumps.

If your down pillows has seen better days, if its ripped, torn, or shows other signs of old age… fold it in half..and it doesnt flip back correctly.

We still have our construction hats on as we try and get our customer login area settled in on our website, so in the mean time we have taken that section down.

We are accepting orders via paypal, we anticipate having another method very soon.

Via paypal… you do NOT have to join paypal.You can still pay with your major credit card.

Paypal to be honest is pretty stupid when it comes to attracting NEW customers…they just assume arrogantly that everyone has a paypal account because ebay bought them…and I guess ebay assumes the whole world has shopped with them atleast once and paid by paypal. If only I was their CEO.

Anyhoo, when you are on the final checkout page… you can look to the left..and you will see a link if you dont have paypal…and wish to pay.

Ofcourse the big giant “login to your paypal account” is on the right hand side.

We never hold any of your credit card information on our servers. When our customer area is complete… we still wont be hold any customer’s credit card information.

The customer area – accessible after you login. (currently offline.)  will be a place to save “wishlist” items, and home to some other new gizmos we are working on. Especially, access to special sales, vouchers, and 1-day sales when they occur. So becoming a member will actually have a benefit.

But for now, when you place an order with us, you will receive an automated email with a copy of everything that you purchased. Also right after you make your purchase… you have a chance to download and print out a snazzy pdf file listing of everything that you purchased too for your records.
